The Safety & Efficacy of CHROMAT Skincare products used in conjuction with disruptive skin barrier procedures.

A/F Protein Inc. has developed a specialized skincare kit designed to support and enhance recovery after dermatological procedures that comprise the skin's barrier, leading to redness and irritation. Under the CHROMAT label, the kit inclides four carefully formulated products that provide essential nutrients and active ingredients to promote optimal healing and comfort. By accelerating the reduction of apparent redness and irritation, it helps patients experience a smoother, more comfortable recovery. Additionally, when incorporated into pre-procedure protocols for treatments such as microneedling, microderm abrasion, and laser therapy, the products help prepare the skin for better treatment outcomes.

A clinical study was conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of four CHROMAT skincare products in patients undergoing microneedling procedures. A total of 22 participants - both male and female, aged 31-70 years, with varying skin types and conditions - were enrolled. The study took place at two professional locations, one in The Colony, TX (7 patients) and a second in Mt. Pleasant, MI (15 patients).

Before undergoing the procedure, patients were provided with educational materials explaining the CHROMAT Regimen and were required to give informed consent by completing a self-assessment questionnaire. The questoinnaire recorded patients' skin reactions immediately after microneedling, as well as at 24 and 48 hours post-procedure. A copy of the questionnaire and the study results are attached to this report.

The microneedling procedure utilized the full range of a commerical device the EVO Micropen1, with needle penetration depths of up to 2.0 mm depending on skin condition and the specific treatment area.

Patients with varying degrees of premature aging including enlarged pore size, thickened texture, uneven skin tone, wrinkles and overall loss of turgor were included.All subjects were free from professional dermatology treatments for at least two months prior to microneedling. Post microneedling, all participants took home and used the BARRIER RENEWAL KIT in accordance with directions.

The questionnaire used by patients had three general sections that rated skin reaction by color, sensitivity, and temperature over a 48-hour period.

24 HOURS POST-PROCEDURE:

• 87% of respondents reported normal or slightly pink skin
• 93% reported normal or slightly warm skin
• 93% reported normal or mildly sensitive skin

48 HOURS POST-PROCEDURE

• 87% to 93% of respondents reported totally normal skin color, temperature and sensitivity. The remainder reported only mild symptoms
• There were no adverse results or reactions reported by any participants

Prior to microneedling, a peptide serum developed by CHROMAT Skincare was applied to each patient's face to provide lubrication. This serum ,marketed under the Trade name LIFT + FIX, had been used for years by CHROMAT clients to reduce redness and irritation. Before its commerical release, the serum underwent HETCAM (Hen's Egg Test on the Chorioallantoic Membrane) and RIPT (Repeared Insult Patch Test) evaluations by Consumer Product Testing Co. (CPT)* The results indicated:

• HETCAM: "Practically no ocular irritation potential in vivo."
• RIPT: "Did not indicate a potential for dermal irritation or allergic contact sensitization."

Additionally, a separate toxicity study was conducted by CPT on CHROMAT's propriety CHROMA Peptide®, which is designed for absorption into deeper skin layers. The study concluded that the peptide "has an expected in vivo dermal irritancy potential in the non-irritating range."*

Following the microneedling procedure, patients received a serum-infised mask developed by CHROMAT to cool, hydrate, reduce irritation, and support cell regeneration.

Finally, patients were provided with a post-procedure skincare regiman, including additional peptide serum, a cleanser, and a moisturizer. All roducts contained clinically effective concentrations of CHROMA Peptide® to enhance recovery and skin health.
